Christine Grabowski was chosen as "The Outstanding Teacher Grades K-3." for District 6 (Monmouth County) VFW. Joseph Barth was chosen as "The Outstanding Teacher Grades 6-8 "for District 6 (Monmouth County) VFW.
Robert Brown, a 6th grade student at Beers Street School, won 1st Place in an essay contest sponsored by The National WWII Museum. His winning essay appears on the WW II Museum Site and he receives a $250 prize!
