It's no wonder that Hurricane Isaias is passing through today...we have had a storm of activity this past month working on our road back to school!

This week, Governor Murphy mandated that all students and all staff members within a school building must wear masks at all times. We will continue to look for safe options for outdoor "mask breaks," however we will definitely need your partnership in helping our students get used to wearing masks.

Our Pandemic Response Team and Virtual Teaching and Learning Committee are continuing to meet this week to collaborate and plan for reopening HMS in the safest way possible, while offering the most meaningful learning activities, both virtually and in-person!

The district’s full Restart plan will be available this week. Additionally, we will be hosting a parent forum via Zoom on August 12th, in order to answer your questions and hear your concerns. Please keep an eye on your email for details and registration!

Don't forget about summer reading! It is not mandatory but highly encouraged. :) Information is available at https://drive.google.com/file/d/19dIxhjdzD1otZ1YzVIIjrnX8xAxpnkYF/view.

Continue to enjoy your summer, and choose kind. :)
