I am a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Elementary Education and a K-8 certification. In addition, I have a Master's in the Art of Teaching and Learning with a Specialization in Curriculum and Instruction from Nova Southeastern University. I have been teaching in Hazlet for over 25 years. My career began at LDS upon completion of my undergrad degree in 1994. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades and reading and math in grades 1-4 through our Basic Skills Program. I have also been working with our Targeted Reading students for the past several years. I continue to act as the Administrative Aide at Lillian Drive School where I assist Mrs. Matsutani in various tasks within the building. Furthermore, as the Administrative Aide, I assist the principal and act on her behalf in her absence. I am also the Case Manager for all active Intervention and Referral Service cases and the Anti-Bullying Specialist.
I live in Oceanport with my husband and our two daughters. I love the beach, spending time with friends and family and I am extremely active in my free time.
