As a School Counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, personal, and social development of all students. I look forward to offering support to the students, staff, families and community. I will be meeting with students individually and in small groups during lunch, conducting classroom lessons, collaborating with teachers and staff, and consulting with community organizations to benefit and meet the needs of the Hazlet students and families.
Any student can request to meet with me or they can be referred by a teacher, administrator, or parent. I encourage you to reach out if you have concerns regarding your child. If you would like for me to meet with your child please do not hesitate to contact me.
I joined the Hazlet family in 2018 after teaching Computers, Technology, and Business for over 15 years across all grades K through 12. I have taught in Freehold Township, Marlboro, Freehold Borough, and Manalapan. I also spent years coaching cheerleading, tennis, softball, track, and cross country as well as serving as advisor for DECA, FBLA, and various Computer Clubs. I spent years being inspired by the incredible work of my School Counselor colleagues and finally decided to make the transition to become a School Counselor myself.
I live in Freehold with my husband, daughter, and son. My hobbies include baking, photography, technology, and crafts; and I enjoy rooting on the Giants and Yankees!
