A message from the Superintendent of Schools 06-18-21

COMMUNITY MESSAGE: Friday, June 18, 2021

Good morning; it is Friday, June 18, and today will complete the final full week of  the 20-21 school year in the Hazlet district. We have weathered the pandemic and come through it stronger, better-informed, and confidant that our students, our staff and our community are not easily defeated. I would like to tip my hat to everyone for staying the course and getting through this together.

At Monday’s Board of Education meeting, we will acknowledge a significant number of exceptional accomplishments—from academic achievement to athletic awards, to teachers earning tenure, PTO presidents having their service recognized, and a full host of additional activities that deserve our support and our appreciation. So please, stay positive, and give these outstanding stakeholders the recognition they deserve.

On Tuesday, the Middle School Promotion ceremony will take place and come Wednesday, Raritan High School will graduate on the football field to signify a monumental achievement and sound the word that our students, our staff and our community will rise to the occasion once again! Hazlet is back!!

Happy summer everyone! Thank you.

Dr. Scott Ridley
