You might be wondering who I am, so let me share a little about myself. My name is Mrs. Amos and this will be my twelfth year teaching at Lillian Drive Elementary School.
Education: I graduated from Shore Regional High School in 2007. After that, I went on to attend Monmouth University. While in college I was a member of the university’s Student Government Association, President of the campus’ International Reading Association’s, and member of the History Honor Society. I graduated on January 13, 2012, with a Bachelor’s degree in History/Political Science, Elementary Education and ESL endorsement.
Teacher Certification: Elementary K-5, English as a Second Language (ESL) Endorsement
About Me: In July my husband and I traveled to Italy. We went on so many adventures, ate delicious food, and bought lots of souvenirs for our two two sons...eight year-old, Christopher and 9-month old, Roman. Christopher is starting second grade and Roman will be going to his Gigi's house while I'm teaching you.
I enjoy biking, going to the beach, reading, and cooking in my free time. My favorite thing to cook (and eat) is pizza!
We also have the cutest little black and white cat named, Luigi.
Here are some of my other favorite things:
Food: Pizza
Movie: Toy Story (the first one)
Book: any book in the Junie B. Jones series
Color: Purple
Drink: Rook coffee & Coke Zero
Sports Team: Eagles (thanks to my husband)
Season: fall and summer
Animal: Cat
Hobby: biking, reading, going to the beach
*Also, students are allowed to bring in snack (one healthy snack).
My Back to School Night Presentation can be accessed via Google Classroom for any parents that could not attend.
