Laurie Stiga is the speech/language pathologist at Middle Road School. She has been employed by the Hazlet Township Public School District since September 2009. She has been a therapist since 1999 and has experience in a multitude of settings including schools, early intervention, private practice and hospitals. Laurie owned and operated her own private practice in Staten Island, NY and Colts Neck, NJ for 10 years. She has experience with a wide variety of speech and language disorders including autism spectrum disorders, apraxia, learning disabilities, oral motor delays, articulation disorders, language delays, and social difficulties. She is a licensed Speech Specialist, Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped and a Speech Pathologist in the states of New Jersey. She is nationally certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association with her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
