Welcome to the 2022-2023 Speech Program at Lillian Drive School.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the new families joining us, and a big welcome back to my returning friends! I will be providing speech and language services for your child as established in his or her Individualized Education Plan. Our therapy room uses a variety of activities and strategies to encourage your child to communicate at their highest level, while still having fun! The skills we work on in school will be reinforced with homework assignments. Taking a few minutes to complete speech activities with your child can help achieve progress toward goals and will emphasize its importance.

Each student will be given a speech folder or notebook which will contain worksheets for oral/written assignments. The students will receive rewards in class for their efforts and as an incentive to keep up the good work! Scheduled speech days will be written on the folders and you will be notified if any changes are made. I am looking forward to a productive year with fun filled learning, listening and speaking!
