Dear Families,

Welcome to Room 11!

My name is Miss Shack and I am so happy to be your teacher for the 25-26 school year! I am so excited to get to know our friends this year !

A few reminders to start the school year:

Each student will receive their own white binder on the first day of school, which will be used for communication between home and school.
At orientation, each student will receive a name tag and backpack tag with their name and my name on it. It is recommended that your child wear the name tag for the first day of school.
We are a 100% nut free classroom. Healthy snacks are encouraged.
Absences: Please report your child's absence by sending an email to sdeclcattendance@hazlet.org.
Dismissal: If there is a change in your child's dismissal plan, please send me an email in advance or send a note in your child's binder. If there is a last minute dismissal change during the school day, please call the office directly.
Extra clothes: Your child's extra clothes will stay in their cubby. Please send extra clothes in a bag (top, bottom, underwear, socks).
Label your child's belongings with their name: lunch box, snack bag/container, water bottle, extra clothes bag, etc.
