Hi! I'm Mrs. Ryder. Here is a little bit about me ...I am a lifelong Hazlet resident. I attended Sycamore Drive and Beers Street School. I also graduated from Raritan High School. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Montclair State University. I also received a certification for Part 1 of the Associate Level Literacy Training from the Orton-Gillingham Academy. I have been teaching for 17 years. I began my teaching career in the Manalapan-Englishtown School District. Then, I took some time off to raise my twin boys and daughter. When it was time to go back to work, I wanted to stay closer to home for my children. I was fortunate to be offered a teaching position in Hazlet, as the Title 1 Intervention teacher at Middle Road School/Lillian Drive School. I have taught students in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade. In September of 2019, I became a 1st grade homeroom teacher at LDS and I love it!
I am looking forward to providing my students with positive learning experiences and making wonderful memories together. Please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions or concerns. =)
