2020 Spring Break Message to the Community

Good afternoon Hazlet community. I begin by once again acknowledging the collective effort all of you have been making on behalf of our students during these challenging times. The daily adjustments by each family once again reinforces the communal personality of this district and allows for all of us to realize that, eventually, the light at the end of this tunnel will grow brighter.

The obvious and understandable question to that last sentence is of course, When? Regretfully, there is no hard and fast answer as of this date, though I do believe we can expect for schools to remain closed through the month of May. I realize this is not an ideal situation though, at the risk of melodrama, if we can keep everyone healthy and alive, the sacrifice will have been worth it.

So please, enjoy some well-earned downtime with your family and friends (practicing proper social-distancing of course) as we continue to move forward in this new reality. One district, one voice.

Virtual learning instruction will resume Monday, April 20, 2020.

Happy spring break, Easter and Passover to all.
