Dear Beers Street Families,
Beginning next Thursday, May 8th, through May 20th, we will administer the NJSLA state test. Please do everything possible to ensure your child is present and on time for school. If students own a set of headphones, they should bring them to school for testing purposes (bluetooth headphones are not permitted). We encourage students to eat breakfast and get a good night's rest so they are ready to do their best.
The Hazlet Middle School Open House is on Tuesday, May 20th, for 6th grade students and parents. Click here for more details.
The next SEPAG meeting is Wednesday, May 7th at 7:00 PM. Officer Luke will share valuable information about the Monmouth County Special Needs Registry and Project Lifesaver. The Co-Directors of Special Services will provide important updates. Click here for more information.
Sometimes in the morning, the car drop-off line extends out of the parking lot onto Beers Street. We open the school doors at 8:00 AM. Limiting your drop-off time between 8:00 and 8:10 AM would alleviate any congestion. Please refrain from entering the drop-off line before 8:00 AM. This way we can keep the line moving and prevent any traffic jams out onto Beers Street. Thank you!
When emailing the school nurse about your child's absence, please send the email to bssattendance@hazlet.org. You may also report absences by calling nurse Pat Raphael at (732) 264-1107, ext. 3003.
Enjoy the weekend!
Sincerely,
Ian Collis
Principal
