Letter from the Principal

Dear Beers Street Families,

Progress Reports are available in the parent portal on Tuesday, October 7th. Please reach out to Mrs. Sansolo in the main office at 732 264-1107, ext. 3001, if you have any issues accessing the parent portal.

Monday, October 6th, marks the start of the Week of Respect. There are activities and theme days planned, including the Respect Week button contest, a cyberbullying assembly, and the Buddy Breakfast on Friday. The Beers Street School PTO will purchase breakfast for every student on Friday, October 10th. Thank you PTO! We will match our 6th graders with their 5th grade buddies for the breakfast. The 6th grade students will share what being a Beers Street Bulldog means and how to BARK Loud!

Week of Respect Theme Days:

Monday, 10/6 - Super Hero Day - Kindness is my superpower

Tuesday, 10/7 - Sweats Day - Being an upstander is NO SWEAT

Wednesday, 10/8 - PJ Day - Put Bullying to bed

Thursday, 10/9 - Hat Day - Tip your cap to respect & gratitude

Friday, 10/10 - Bulldog Pride Day - We are proud to be Beers Street Bulldogs!

Here’s the October issue of SEPAG’s newsletter featuring our very own Mrs. Susino.

Picture Retakes will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025.

The school doors open at 8:00 AM. Please refrain from coming earlier. The car drop-off line can extend onto Beers Street, creating a traffic jam. To eliminate the backup on Beers Street and maintain safety, please do not arrive until 8:00 AM. We appreciate your cooperation.

When emailing the school nurse about your child's absence, please send the email to bssattendance@hazlet.org. You may also report absences by calling nurse Pat Raphael at (732) 264-1107, ext. 3003.

Have a great weekend!

Sincerely,

Ian Collis

Principal
