Dear Beers Street Families,
Next Wednesday, December 10th, is the PTO Holiday Shop.
We are collecting for the RAINE Holiday Toy Drive up until Friday, December 12th.
The Beers Street School Winter Concert featuring our 6th graders (chorus and advanced band) is next Friday, December 12th, at 1:30 pm at Beers Street School. Doors open at 1:15 PM. Students are asked to wear appropriate festive holiday attire (fun sweaters, holiday hats, headbands, necklaces, holiday colors like red, green, blue, or white are encouraged). If you would like to sign your child out of school at the conclusion of the Chorus/Band concert, please complete this form. Please note that students will not be dismissed before the conclusion of the ENTIRE show - including the band and chorus performances.

Tips from Mrs. Raphael, our school nurse: The holiday season is here, and so is the flu! It's not too late to get your flu shot before it gets you! The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends getting the flu shot for those aged 6 months and older to protect you and your family.
The school doors open at 8:00 AM. Please refrain from coming earlier. The car drop-off line can extend onto Beers Street, creating a traffic jam. To avoid backups on Beers Street and ensure safety, please do not arrive until 8:00 AM. We appreciate your cooperation.
When emailing the school nurse about your child's absence, please send an email to bssattendance@hazlet.org. You may also report absences by calling nurse Pat Raphael at (732) 264-1107, ext. 3003.
