Dear Beers Street Families,
Next Friday, October 30th, students may wear their Halloween costumes to school. Please follow the dress code and note the following to ensure a fun and safe day. We will not permit apparel with offensive, profane, or inappropriate messages or images. This includes masks, toy weapons, or revealing clothing. Please do not bring snacks or candy to school.
The Halloween Dance is on Friday, October 30th from 3:00 - 4:30 PM. Students must be picked up by a guardian. Permission slips were sent home. You can also find the Halloween Dance permission slip here.

The Silly String-O-Ween fundraiser is on! The homeroom that raises the most money gets to silly-string the principal at the Halloween Dance on October 30th! You can learn more about the Silly String-O-Ween fundraiser and how to participate here.
The Book Fair is next Wednesday, October 28th. Flyers will come home soon.
Rocket Basketball Fall Clinic runs from November 2nd to November 4th for grades 2 - 8. To sign your child up, learn more, and register, click here.
Students should not arrive at school before 8:00 AM. There is no supervision. Please refrain from coming earlier. Likewise, the car drop-off line can extend onto Beers Street and create a traffic jam. To prevent backups on Beers Street and keep everyone safe, please do not arrive before 8:00 AM. We appreciate your cooperation.
Nominate your child’s teacher for the Governor’s Educator of the Year Award. You can find the nomination form here. Submit all nominations to the main office by November 13th.
Picture Day retakes are scheduled for Monday, November 9th.
