Letter from the Principal

Dear Beers Street Families,

The Halloween Dance was so much fun, and Silly String-O-Ween was a hit! Thank you PTO and parents for your generous donations.

On Monday, October 31st, students may wear their Halloween costumes to school. However, please, no costume masks or weapons. Also, please do not bring snacks or treats to school.

On Wednesday, November 2nd, we welcome the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office to Beers Street. They will present an assembly on cyberbullying to our students.

Thursday, November 3rd, is picture re-take day. The forms will come home next week.

Each year parents must re-register for their Family ID account. If you registered in the previous year, re-registering is a quick process. Please take a moment to update your Family ID account. Here are some helpful links to assist you with this process:

Language arts tutoring is offered on Tuesdays, and math tutoring on Thursdays. Tutoring sessions go from 2:50 - 3:45 PM. There is no bus for tutoring. Therefore parents should make transportation arrangements. Teachers will recommend students for tutoring. If you would like your child to attend tutoring, please complete this form and return it to your child's homeroom teacher.

Online homework help is offered Monday through Thursday from 6:00 - 7:00 PM. Students can ask questions, go over homework, or review a concept they may not fully understand. Students must join the Online Homework Help Google Classroom to attend. The code to join is xxw37fp.

Enjoy the weekend!

Sincerely,

Ian Collis

Principal
