Dr. Tiffany Beer will join Hazlet Township Public Schools as the Assistant Superintendent in January 2026. In this role, Dr. Beer will be responsible for overseeing Board of Education policies, regulations, and administrative procedures. Her leadership will encompass critical district operations, including strategic action planning, budgeting, personnel staffing, and the supervision of directors and principals. Additionally, her portfolio includes administrative mentoring, monitoring daily school management, and overseeing school-based academic goals alongside building-level performance outcomes.
Dr. Beer will also manage school performance reports, data assessments, curriculum and instruction, and professional development. Her oversight extends to student services, including HIB policies, as well as staff and student attendance, security drills, and the leadership of AchieveNJ evaluations for administrators and teachers.
Most recently, Dr. Beer served as a Director of Curriculum and Instruction. In that capacity, she spearheaded educational and ESEA programs while supervising a team dedicated to aligning curriculum with state standards. She began her career as a High School English Teacher, where she developed a foundation for student achievement that led to subsequent leadership roles as an English Department Supervisor and a Program Supervisor of Literacy.
Dr. Beer holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education with a minor in Spanish. In addition to her district responsibilities, she serves as a mentor for new administrators across New Jersey. Her research and professional work have been presented at several state and national forums, including the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA).
