Good day Hazlet. As shared in previous videos, we have been faced with significant budget challenges due to unprecedented rising health and prescription costs in this and the coming year. And while we have been fortunate enough to NOT compromise any of our educational priorities, we have nonetheless been compelled to make some fiscal adjustments in order to balance our budget and move the district forward come the 2026-27 school year. As such, we will be eliminating courtesy busing come September in order to balance our bottom line. Subscription busing will be available if parents are interested in this option.
Please refer to the Eligibility by Street guide on the website to check if your student qualifies for Transportation in 2026-2027. Subscription bus applications are available on the website.On a related note, we will continue to transport students across Routes 35 and 36 as well as over the Garden State Parkway. Thank you
