Dear Beers Street Families,

The Halloween Dance is scheduled for October 27th from 3:00 - 4:30 PM. Please make arrangements for your child to be picked up at 4:30. Students are encouraged to wear black, orange, and purple (students may wear costumes on Halloween). Permission slips were sent home. Please return them by this Tuesday. Friday, October 27th, marks the end of the PTO Silly String-O-Ween fundraiser. The class that raises the most money will get to silly-string me, the principal, at the Halloween Dance. Donations go towards funding field day.
Next week is Red Ribbon Week. There will be various activities, including a drug-free pledge and an anti-vaping assembly for our 6th graders on Wednesday.

If you would like your child to attend after-school tutoring, please complete this form and return it to your child's homeroom teacher.

During October, when you shop at Stop & Shop on Rt. 36 in Keyport and purchase the reusable Community Bag, a $1 donation will be made to the Beers Street School PTO. You can see the flyer here.
When emailing the school nurse about your child's absence, please send the email to bssattendance@hazlet.org. You may also continue to report absences by calling nurse Pat Raphael at (732) 264-1107, ext. 3003. Thank you!
